The NEEDS Assessment questions used in this app are widely published and publicly available through various sources. Maze Legal PLC does not claim exclusive ownership of any publicly available question text. Any trademarks, service marks, logos, and brand identifiers associated with ADE Incorporated or other third parties remain the property of their respective owners. Maze Legal PLC references the NEEDS name solely to identify the questionnaire content and to direct users to the official rights-holder for the official instrument.
Maze Legal PLC has developed and implemented a proprietary and confidential scoring and interpretation methodology for use within this app (the “Maze Legal Scoring System”). The Maze Legal Scoring System includes, without limitation, scoring logic, variables, weights, thresholds, subscale calculations, interpretation rules, risk classifications, suggested supervision levels, report formatting, software code, and all derived outputs. The Maze Legal Scoring System is proprietary to Maze Legal PLC and is protected to the maximum extent permitted under applicable intellectual property and trade secret laws.
This app does not use ADE Incorporated’s proprietary scoring methodology, scoring key, or program variables. App outputs are generated solely by the Maze Legal Scoring System. The results generated by this app may vary significantly, and in some cases materially, from ADE’s proprietary scoring methodology and from scoring used by Michigan courts, probation departments, treatment providers, evaluators, or other programs. Maze Legal PLC makes no representation that this app replicates ADE scoring, court scoring, or any standardized scoring model.
This app is not a substitute for a professional clinical assessment, diagnosis, or treatment recommendation. This app does not provide medical, psychological, or treatment advice. This app also does not provide legal advice. Use of this app or website does not create an attorney–client relationship with Maze Legal PLC. An attorney–client relationship is formed only by a signed written retainer agreement.
You agree not to access, use, or interact with this website or app in any manner intended to copy, extract, or derive the Maze Legal Scoring System, its rules, or its outputs. Prohibited activity includes, without limitation: automated access, scraping, crawling, spidering, data harvesting, bulk downloading, the use of bots or scripts, headless browser automation, systematic repeated testing intended to infer scoring rules, reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, probing, circumvention of access controls, and any attempt to discover, reconstruct, or replicate the Maze Legal Scoring System. Any unauthorized attempt to extract the scoring key, thresholds, weights, variables, or decision rules is prohibited. Maze Legal PLC reserves the right to suspend access, block users, and pursue all available remedies.

This notice and any disputes arising out of or relating to the app or website shall be governed by Michigan law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any action shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wayne County, Michigan, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
