In-Depth Coverage of Michigan’s District Court Handling DUI Cases

A friend recently asked my opinion about a particular judge in a court that I frequently appear in defending DUI cases. As a result of that conversation, I decided to compile a listing of the various district courts and judges handling DUI cases. As I complete these pages, I hope to create a complete directory of the various courts and judges. Obviously, at this time the list is far from complete, but I will frequently add new courts.

Since being elected to office last fall, Oakland County Prosecuting Attorney Jessica Cooper has announced a new policy of no plea reductions in OWI 1st cases, adopted an unlawful policy of charging people $900 for the return of their cars on repeat offender cases, and withdrawn support for the sobriety court program.
